A Brave Place for a Dream.
3604
The physical home of The Dream Project, 3604 is a creative space where movement, imagination, storytelling, and community come together.
3604 is a dance studio.
A performance space.
A classroom.
A gathering place.
A canvas for what has not yet been imagined.
Located in Cincinnati’s Evanston neighborhood, 3604 was created to give artists, young people, families, and community members a place to explore possibility, develop their gifts, and see themselves in a new story.
This is not only about dance. This is about you.
What Happens Here
At 3604, people of different ages, backgrounds, and experience levels are invited to learn, create, perform, and connect.
Classes and Training
From a child entering their first dance class to an adult returning to movement after many years, our programs create space for people to build confidence, strengthen their craft, and experience the joy of being in their bodies.
You do not have to arrive as "a dancer", "producer", "project manager" or established artist.
You only have to arrive... human
Performance and Possibility
3604 gives developing and professional artists a place to rehearse, experiment, collaborate, and perform.
It is a home for new choreography, intimate performances, artist workshops, community showcases, film projects, photo shoots, conversations, and creative ideas still finding their shape.
Through the partnership of Revolution Dance Theatre and David Productions made possible by The Dream Project, artists are given opportunities to exercise their craft, build professional experience, and create work that reflects the fullness of our lives.
Some people will enter 3604 for a class.
Some will enter for a performance.
Some may discover an entirely new future.
A Space for Community
We believe art is not something that should only happen behind theatre doors.
It should live where people live.
3604 is designed to be a welcoming place for neighbors, artists, students, families, dreamers, and curious people to gather. Through performances, workshops, celebrations, conversations, exhibitions, and community events, the space invites us to learn from one another and imagine what we might create together.
Because a movement can change the world.
And sometimes, a movement begins in one room.
The Living Dream Project
The Dream Project exists to increase positive representation of African Americans across stages, pages, streams, and screens.
3604 brings that mission into physical form.
The stories on the walls, the movement in the studios, the faces on the stage, and the ideas developed inside this space all contribute to a larger vision: a world where more people have access to imagine, create, and become.
This is a place where dreams are not treated as distant fantasies.
They are given space.
They are given practice.
They are given witnesses.
They are given a chance to become real.
Find Yourself Here
You may come to take a class.
You may come to see a show.
You may come to create, volunteer, teach, rehearse, celebrate, or simply experience something new.
However you arrive, we hope 3604 reminds you that possibility is not somewhere far away.
It is already here.
And perhaps, so is the next version of you.
